SUPPORTING WOMEN IN LOCAL RICE PRODUCTION

Tim Africa Aid Ghana, a non-governmental organization, has empowered women in the Ahafo Ano North Municipality of the Ashanti Region, thanks to funding support from Plan International Ghana. This initiative is part of Tim Africa Aid’s mission to promote women’s rights and development, particularly in hard-to-reach areas.¹ The organization has a long history of collaborating with Plan International Ghana, having implemented the Women’s Voice and Leadership Ghana project in the same municipality from February to August 2021. This project successfully reached 25,690 people in 15 communities. Tim Africa Aid Ghana’s focus on women’s empowerment is crucial in promoting sustainable development and equality in the region. By providing support and resources, the organization aims to enhance the livelihoods of women and their families, ultimately contributing to a more equitable society. This partnership between Tim Africa Aid Ghana and Plan International Ghana demonstrates the power of collaborative efforts in driving positive change.
