About Us

Tim Africa Aid Ghana (TAAG) is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) under the Companies Act, 1963 Act 179 as a company limited by guarantee. Registered on July 5, 2001, with registration number
G-8258, and at the Department of Gender, Children, and Social Protection (DSW/1542), TAAG is dedicated to promoting good health, supporting women and children’s rights and development. Our office is located at the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOFA) office, Block 20/A, Tepa-Ashanti Region.

Goal

To enhance the livelihood of the marginalized and vulnerable in society through a multi-faceted approach to defect poverty, ignorance, and diseases to promote strategies, and interventions that encourage participation and inclusion at all levels.

Vision: A life of free will and self-determination for everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, or
gender, having attained sustainable empowerment in livelihood, education, human rights, and health, leading to socio-economic growth for all.

Mission: Tim Africa Aid Ghana strives to work in unity for socio-economic development in communities through a participatory approach, aiming to eradicate poverty, disease, and ignorance,
and achieve prosperity for all.

Our Structure

Board of Directors / Trustees

Role: Oversees the strategic direction, governance, and financial health of the organization. They are responsible for making high-level decisions and ensuring the organization adheres to its mission and values.

Executive Director / Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Role: Responsible for the overall management of the organization, leading day-to-day operations, ensuring project implementation, and liaising with the Board of Directors. The Executive Director is often the public face of the organization

Senior Management Team
(Program Manager)

Role: Manages the design, implementation, and monitoring of the organization’s programs (e.g., health, education, community engagement). Supervises program managers and ensures program activities align with the organization’s goals

Finance and Administration Manager

Role: Oversees financial management, budgeting, and reporting. Manages administrative functions, human resources, and compliance with donor requirements  organization’s goals

Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Manager

Role: Responsible for tracking the progress of programs, collecting data, and evaluating outcomes. Ensures that projects meet objectives and impact is measured accurately

Gender & Administrative Officer

Role: Often recruited for specific projects or during high-activity periods, volunteers assist with field operations, awareness

Our Strong Team

TAAG has a clearly defined structure including 5 Board of Directors, Executive Director, 10 Project Management team, and 55 Volunteers. The structure determines the chain of command and hierarchy of responsibility within TAAG. The Board of Directors is the planning and policy-making body of the organization. The Board of Directors is selected based on their competency in responding to the needs of the organization TAAG.  The board of directors controls and approves all activities of the Project Management Team. The Executive Director is the head of Project Management and is responsible for the implementation of programs and the daily management of all activities.  The Board of Directors is composed of three males, one female, and an ex-officio member as the Executive Director.
